Beijing time on January 19, 2016, French Bordeaux Wine Festival and Coronation Ceremony was held in France. Provincial officials, representatives of French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, more than 100 wineries representatives and media all attend the ceremony. Interwine Rita Jia, General Director of Canton Universal Fair Group Ltd., was honored with Knight's Cross by Commanderie du Bontemps in Chateau Beychevelle.

Commanderie du Bontemps is one of the oldest and largest wine associations in France. It has about 300 members, including the most famous wineries on the left bank of Gironde and important wine merchants of Bordeaux wine.

Knight's Cross is a medal of honor in France.It gives the honor to French citizens who make great contributions to the country and foreign citizens who help France to develop good foreign relations. Ms. Rita Jia was honored with Knight's Cross for she had contributed a lot to the development of French wine.

French wine is very famous in the world. Today, it is the most popular wine among Chinese people. Ms. Rita Jia established Canton Universal Fair Group Ltd. in 2004. She has made great efforts to promote the development of Chinese and foreign wines. She set up professional wine and spirits exhibition, Interwine China, cooperated with government departments, wine associations in 72 wine producing countries and more than 500,000 wine merchants in the world. Today, Interwine has formed a relation network covering more than 130,000 wine merchants, 20,000 wine importers and 18,000 food importers in 58 countries and 31 provinces, cities and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in China.

Interwine plays an important role in promoting French wine in China, which helps French wine keep the strong advantage in China’s wine market.

Since 2004, Ms. Rita Jia has established good relationships with France Consulate General in Guangzhou, Sopexa and other French associations in China to promote French wine in the Chinese market. The Sud de France delegation participated in Interwine in 2010. CCIFC organized French wineries participated in Interwine for 6 times consecutively and held wine-tastings for Domaine Maurel Merlot, Clos Saint-Martin and The OG gold wine. These famous wineries have participated in Interwine, such as GCF、FRENCH CORNER、Domaine Les Freres Marins、Cognac Laurent Jouffe、VIGNERONS PROPRIETES ASSOCIES、Groupe TWL、BVA/OUAV、Chateau Hourtin-Ducasse、La Caumette、SINOEXPORT Co., Ltd.and etc.

Ms. Rita Jia, Mr. Shengzong, Luo, General Director of Rastignac (HK) Ltd. and Leo Lee, Director of Shanghai International Wine Culture Museum are coronated.

France national pavilion participated in the 14th Interwine with an exhibiting area of 180sqm. The strong support from French pavilion showed its highly recognition for the efforts of Interwine.  More than 100 French individual exhibitors have participated in Interwine , like CASTEL, ADVINI, Dubos, Hangzhou B.O.and etc. Over 1,000 famous French wine importers have participated in Interwine, like Shenzhen Nanyu Brother, Guangzhou Red Pony wines, Shenzhen Great eagle, Shanghai Grand ECHO ,GBL , Xiamen Utrans.

Interwine provides Chinese consumers with an opportunity to experience romantic French wine culture, taste high quality French wine and communicate with professional French exhibitors.

In the past 11 years, Interwine has organized grand and professional wine fairs twice every year; also, Interwine has roadshows in over 40 cities in China. More than 5,000 French wine importers have expanded sales channels and group-buying clients of Chinese market by participating in our fairs, wine tasting events and master classes.
