On February 24, the 2022 Interwine Roadshow programme officially kicked off at the Xanadu Hotel in Guangzhou. In today's Guangzhou roadhsow, 36 exhibitors gathered with hundreds of global fine wines. The EU supported "Europe Shares" Bulgarian wine pavilion, the Wine Channel pavilion, the Vini d'Abruzzo official pavilion, Whisky lounge and other theme areas attracted the attention of visitors. This hot event has more than 800 liquor distributors from the Greater Bay Area to visit and purchase.

Characteristic Bulgarian wines are welcomed

Wine Channel is a bridge between Italy and China, and has been working closely with Interwine to introduce Italian fine wines to the Chinese market. In the Guangzhou roadshow, the Wine Channel pavilion displayed wines from 12 excellent wineries, as well as selected wines from Enoitalia Wine Group.

Located in central Italy, Abruzzo is the fifth largest wine region in Italy and is world-renowned for its Montepulciano and Trebbiolo wines. In the Guangzhou roadshow, Consorzio Tutela Vini d'Abruzzo brought 10 fine wines from 4 wineries, showing the charm of this classic Italian wine region.

As a new hot spot in China's liquor market, whisky was also the focus of the Guangzhou roadshow. The newly added Whisky Lounge exhibited products from popular areas such as Scotland, Ireland, and Japan, showcasing the global whisky flavor in one event.

Under the lecture of Sabina Yang, participants had a taste of the fine wines of Abruzzo, the classic Italian wine region. The depth and strength of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo are fascinating, and also gave the participants a new understanding of this fast-growing wine region.

The Bulgarian wine masterclass started with online meeting with Bulgarian Wine Association and winery representatives. Then Sally Chen showed the history and current situation of Bulgarian wine to the participants, and led them to taste some excellent Bulgarian wines.

As one of the world's top wine regions, Côte de Nuits has the best terroirs and plots, as well as legendary wineries and brands. Therefore, it is not difficult to understand the popularity of this masterclass. The participants were highly impressed by the elegance of Côte de Nuits wine.
